Mrs. Wilson began her career in the beauty industry as the 38th student to enroll at Schilling-Douglas in 1977. Upon graduation she acquired her cosmetology license and work as an assistant to Douglas David, the schools founder. Mrs. Wilson worked as a professional stylist until 1990, when she entered and graduated the school’s instructor program. She has been teaching at Schilling-Douglas for 21 years and currently holds the position of Director of Education. Mrs. Wilson has attended numerous courses and advanced training programs throughout her career. She has earned certification as a Master Educator through Milady’s career Institute. She is also a certified OPI instructor. Her most recent professional accomplishment is receiving Certification from Milady’s Career Institute as an Advanced Master Educator. Mrs. Wilson is a current member of Cosmetology Educators of America and is very active with her church and the girl scouts. She enjoys camping, crafts, reading and stamping in her free time. |
